Nostalgia is definitely a factor that's preying on me a little, even though I want Mighty No. 9 to also be able to stand on it's own merits.



A little nostalgia ain't bad though and I'm sure that people feel this way mainly about the characters and their designs.

I think having the base characters for the nostalgia factor is best.



Then introducing new characters throughout the series, be they supplemental or core to the story, can really shine with their new designs and looks.  :mrgreen:



Just like I'm sure the robo-dog resembles Rush, the main villain may resemble Wily, Beck's creator may resemble Light, etc.
