At the moment, that's really not the best idea. Everything came tumblring down in that general direction. This would just be caught up as more GamerGate speak, which is currently bannable across all boards.

I have to ask you guys; did you all see the Bigender "xe" pronoun robot in Azure Striker? That item alone shows that some translations are being touched, and touched hard by 8-4 - And Dina's agenda, which was stated to never be something that would be part of their games - Is getting in anyways. The tumblr crowd loves the change, but it's something that feels forced as all hell.

You better believe I've seen it, and I'm pissed as hell. Completely killed me even considering that game, I refuse to even use the Mighty Gunvolt codes. And of course the second I brought it up on the forum, it's "libelous". Hmm, I wonder.

What I can't stand even more, however, are the people who defend it by saying "oh well the world in that game is so messed up they have to use pronouns like that, it's a joke dude lol". I can tell this is going to turn into another Mn9 forum fiasco and no one will see it the way it really is until almost a year later, when literally every 8-4 game refers to anyone gender ambiguous as "xe" instead of picking a goddamn gender.

Ok, this is amazing. One brave soul decided to post just a tiny infomercial about the #gamergate scandal, to discuss it in the forums, and the person doesn't get banned, BUT REMOVED ENTIRELY FROM THE WEBSITE:

Sample evidence of account removal: http://www.mightyno9.com/en/node/3269

Notice no "banned" badge or "Send author a message"

Here is all that I was able to get before the thread was deleted:

Haha I didn't even notice that my backer badge is gone. What a laugh. I recieved an email about an hour, maybe two hours after that post was deleted teling me I'm banned for another thirty days. I've just been happily posting this tremendous coverup to https://twitter.com/FortesSnC/status/512137348553781248">Twitter.

Not going to lie, I made the post explicitly knowing I would get a ban for it, but the deletion of the thread entirely is something else, way more than I could have asked for.

Quote from: BSOIt's a mystery to me, but I know that a number of banned users have migrated to this site. I also know that there are people that have a tendency to dislike moderators on principle, since some people see it only as a job meant for the purpose of censorship and such.

Well, a number of banned users wouldn't have had to migrate here at all if, you know, we hadn't been banned on meaningless grounds. You weren't a moderator when the majority of banned users who are here were banned, so you're not at fault, and even if you had been, I'm sure that a moderator's impact on bans there is very little, though I am curious just how much you people know. Depending on how many people there are with Dina's level of power, as well as her level of self control, they're the only people to blame in this situation.

As for being a moderator having no purpose but censorship, that's uninformed, I certainly hope no one here has fallen into such a poor mindset. Moderation or leadership in general is only censorship when the person with the job is inherently inclined to censorship, which in my opinion makes them a terrible human being. Your being here, however, is a show of good faith on your part, and I feel that you're a trustworthy individual.

I'll be back on the official forums on Monday, unless they conveniently forget to undo my ban. If there's anything you'd like to tell me regarding "how much you people know", PM me knowing that it'll be a secret kept to me.

Quote from: BSOProbably not going to stick around, but I thought I'd at least pop in and say hi.

Don't say that, we're cool man I promise. :D

Welcome to MN9U all the same BSO. Pull up a chair and enjoy!

Appreciate the gesture, but I don't think I'm particularly welcome.

Sure you are. What would anyone have against you anyway?

Congrats on becoming a moderator, as useless as that is.

I almost forgot to check up on this place.

Anyway, I'm ok with anyone left at the Mighty No. 9 forums to request full information regarding my ban, issued on December 20, 2013, and to use this post as proof I'm sure the moderation there wants. That is, in the event that the email I sent them isn't enough, which based on Spider Bread's information, will not be.

Quote from: ShiroyamiQuestion: those bans issued so far... are they all permanent or 30-day or does it vary from case to case?

I think all bans issued thus far are 30 days, but I could see them making them permanent if we come back and raise more hell. The sheep and maybe even the white knights would question permanently banning people from something they paid to access for about ten minutes, but as soon as Dina and 8-4 hop online, they'd lie their way into convincing everyone that it was for the greater good.

I think we were up against people who were a bit more experienced than we expected.

Welp, I'm here now. I'm happy to be able to hang out with the best part of the official MN9 forums. Gotta say though, my pride hurts - I've never lost like this before.
