If you're not looking for these to collect but to play I'd really reccomend getting Legends 2 over 1. 1's mechanics are very clunky and its story is less polished, while 2's are much more refined, 2 also has greater enemy, mission and boss variety. If you're going to play 2 after all, use control style d which is Analog controller only, the game plays exactly as Halo 2 with control style d, you'll hardly have to use the fidgety lock on system outside of the final boss fight.

Spinosaurus was a fishing type Dino, the only way he could beat a T-Rex is if he lured it into the water. On a land battle it's completely screwed, a T-Rex's bite strength is too much for a Spino to handly.

I don't blame you because as I said the game's plot, gameplay and dialogue are oh so bad, if you ever play it, play it for the fictional language, music, and mythos.



Also I've already played .hack but I've yet to play a mainstream Shining game. I've played Shining Soul 1 & 2 with 2 being an excellent Diablo 2 clone for the GBA.

I wouldn't say Arin has ever been up his own ass to be honest, he's really humble in gaming conventions and with his interactions with fans. It's just that he has become extremely lazy due to his partnership with Youtube, Polaris and the merchandizing. As I said I'm just mad at him because of the laziness, hell if you look at "his" starbomb music video  you'll notice that he doesn't even animate as much as he used to, he actually hired an animation studio and freelancers to do most of the gruntwork for him.



While I am glad that he has made a name for himself and is relatively succesful I miss Ego's REAL OC and wish Gamegrumps never happened.

I think it's also worth noting that the language used in the song is a fully functional language called Hymmnos. It's a mixture of Sanskrit, English, Japanese, and German.



A bit off tangent but...



The game itself is quite honesly crap, the mythos behind it and the music specially is so freaking good however! Some of the things you will have issues with will be fan service for the sake of fan service, and just badly written cliched dialogue along with generic turn based combat.

I'm actually glad the fat persian left mang. His show is good but his GG stuff almost made me freaking deaf at times. And I never appreciated his singing, nor do I appreciate Danny's either. I think the show is just the same really, while it is true Jon very much forced himself to be the wild card his weak episodes put me off just as much as Danny's episodes. And at least with Arin and Danny we have them use strategy guides, meaning we're not going to get Naughty Bear 2.0.



And nah man, GG is a cash cow for him, it's not just the partner money but the merchandise, free gifts and stuff he gets. And with Starbomb and the affiliations he has with Polaris cash shouldn't be an issue unless he wastes it on "Hookers and Blow".

He did, the Zelda Sequelitis has been in the works for nearly 2 years now, and Girl Chan in Paradise was canceled via a twitter post out of all things.

Rumors say he used to work as an animator for Fox Network, however outside of rumor talk he has confirmed that he did do work in the animation industry. What the work was and for who he has never said exactly, he did say it was horrible, he described it as "soul sucking" IIRC.



With that said I hope the Fat Persian goes back to making more videos about video games or shitty obscure films like Birdemic.

I know this isn't really about Arin but I have to get this out of my chest. Like it's so obvious this guy doesn't play anything but 2d sidescrollers and that his opinions on 3d games are just downright amateur due to his lack of experience in them. I'm also pretty mad that he discontinued sequelitis all together along with Girl Chan in Paradise due to the mad dosh he's getting via GG. Those were awesome and fun things and very few things out there on the internet can compare. Sequelitis was the perfect blend of humour and actual discussion, very much unlike AVGN and his many, many, many poorly done clones. Girl Chan in Paradise pretty much made fun of EVERY mainstream anime trope, the only piece of works that can compare out there is Yugi-Oh TAS by Little Kuriboh and Gigabots. With Gigabots being a direct parody of tokusatsu, mecha anime and Evangelion.



With that said they're pretty much the only LPers who don't bore me to tears, they do have some cringe worthy moments, specially on Steam Train but even their cringe worthy episodes are much more entertaining than your average LP.

What are you guys going to do when this gets more momentum than the official forums themselves? Also I've heard that backers are getting special subforums will we nonbackers be able to see it or are we just going to pretend those don't exist?

Yeah the problem is that one guy is asking for backers to prove they're backers which is causing Drama. Instead of having them be backups in case someone asks for a forum number.

I'm asking for everyone's help here, no one with an account who is anon wants to share their info, they want to remain anon.

So the movement sucks right now, there's a few people with an account but they don't want to fully help because they don't want to be ID on the forums or their kickstarter. We only have 4 hush emails in circulation, we need your guy's help, I know not all of you are from /vg/ so any little extra help we can garner here is a plus.

The people of the VG republic are arguing on the validity of making a psyop of sorts to spread this info across various gaming forums and sites using multiple accounts. What do you guys think?
