Quote from: "TheCloudyEye"Can't believe the FM2 translation team gave up on the project when it's 75% done.

God fucking damn it. This is news for me.

Too bad Square Enix made FM for NDS and mobile phones instead of following the TRPG saga on next-gen systems.

It goes without saying but all the games mentioned in this thread are worth playing, so if you haven't played some of them yet, please do.

If by movie you mean documentary or fan made movie, maybe.

Otherwise, no way in hell.

http://gematsu.com/2014/02/metal-gear-s ... hours-long

Reminder: MGR:R is like 3-4 hours long and it's a 60USD game at launch, but that game doesn't count the cutscenes (besides it's a crazy hack n slash with lots of replayability due how addictive is slashing enemies in their weak spots and the parry system.

The important questions are:

On which difficulty setting did the reviewer play the game? This can change everything, because if the reviewer was playing on Easy then he could've gone #YOLO from one waypoint to the next disregarding enemy fire.

Does the time counter of the game include the cutscenes? Another obvious game changer for a Kojima game.

Nonetheless it's still quite short (for the price of admision) if you're planning to buy the next-gen version or live in Europe.

The worst part will be having to wait like one or two more years after release until the full game is in stores.

It probably has something to do with its funding being partially based on a system resemblant to KS's pledges.

Once they got your money, there's not that much pressure on them to deliver what they promised in a timely manner.

I'm not a fan of paid demos (unless they come with a free Zone Of the Enders game :D).
