Too bad it's slow here now.  You Staff (and members in general) are some cool folks I miss hanging out and posting here with you all here.  'Tis the sad fate of most forums I suppose.  My own forum is nearly a wasteland now.

I don't think it's that Echo isn't popular, I just think MN9 in general has became a less popular subject.  Heck, I forget all about the game unless I see something involving Megaman news.  The new Smash Bros. screens had me remembering MN9.  Once the pre-release news starts rolling again hopefully Echo's name can start echoing all over again. ^_^

Bravely Default, Dragon's Crown, Lone Survivor, and Rune Factory 4.  Doubt I'll ever finish another game before I die.

After MMX4 I dropped off Megaman entirely, the games after just never seemed to keep me entertained.  Maybe it was too much of the same thing for me, or maybe I just became too addicted to social gaming.  Who knows.  I'm still bummed that the Megaman MMO was canceled though..that was my last hope for being involved with the Megaman fanbase.

Yeah..brings up a question I've been sitting on a while.  Am I the only one who suspects this game was being made or worked on long before the Kickstarter was announced?  Maybe I missed something along the way...

A little story would be great but for me, Megaman game types have always been about the game play.  With little teases of story in between the journey.  I imagine this game WILL be short though.  I can see it being beaten in under 5 hours normally, with replayability (difficulties, time attacks, etc.) options and achievements being available as time fillers.  Once the weaknesses are exposed an the boss order is known, it will probably be a snap.  Though I hope I'm wrong on that one..



One of the reasons I loved Zero's inclusion (apart from his bad ass personality, design, and beam saber) is because his game took more skill since you had to get up close to fight with button combos, like a Street Fighter game.  I died a lot while learning his play style, and it definitely was more time consuming to play as Zero, which I liked.  Megaman was very easy compared since he can fire far away (in my opinions).  I blazed through the MM games quite easily and my worse enemy was a spike trap, not an enemy robot. haha!

Your determination is commendable.  You must really see something special with Echo.  Hopefully more people will support her.
