This video has been flying around all morning showing Mighty No. 9 in-engine footage.

Whilst it's not confirmed, I thought I'd link it here just in case it's real.

EDIT: Now confirmed via Kickstarter

Weejus

I love it. The Unreal Engine serves Mighty No. 9 well.

TheRaven

I love it, looks so crisp and clean I can't wait to play this. :D

With it being built on Unreal, they better hope it doesn't get the handheld stretch-goal or they really will be at war with porting it. Unreal doesn't work on the 3DS and there's only ever been a prototype for PS Vita.

They'd need a secondary engine and I can't think of one that's good for both handhelds right now.

NinjablazerZero

With only 7 days of work put into that animation, it is pretty damn good and well done. Can't wait to see how the actual game will look at release. Definitely looking great.

Agreed, it's an excellent start and has me imagining all sorts now. I'm very impressed with what they've done in 7 days. (considering it takes other companies months to even do basic animation)

I think we're on to a winner here everyone. :beckveryhappy

Just to point out that in the Kickstarter post, it states these aren't even the real assets. They're test assets. :P

They're only testing engines. The graphics, etc don't matter at the moment.

I realize that, but when this is done I hope it looks as good as the X series did before it went to the ugly 3D models.

Ahh now I get you mate. Yeah, I agree with you on this front. They've got a long time to work on it so here's hoping. :D

Glad to see some footage of this game, even if it is extremely early and is bound to change. I like Beck's running animation and the graphical effect that comes out of destroying enemies; however, I'd like to see Beck's jumping animation changed to not be blatantly copying Mega Man and the atmosphere to have better contrast.

In the end I hope they make it look as good as the concept picture showed.
