Aero, the pink haired heroine of the sadly ill-fated Megaman Legends 3 was slated to appear in Capcom's battle RPG game for Japan iTunes called Otoranger.

This move has perhaps made some puzzled, but definitely the expected reaction was from the cynical side of the fandom who's still hurt, offended and heart broken by the much awaited Megaman Legends 3 getting canceled years ago. Scathing accusations of trolling, twisting the knife and pouring even more salt to the still aching fresh wound was verbally thrown at Capcom .

Well, we all know this was gonna happen sooner or later. Capcom better call the fire brigade on advance.

I think Capcom's going to need to stop teasing things that didn't happen. That just ain't cool and I ain't impressed with their recent business practices.

They make too many mobile games now too. I know they're running out of money but this seriously isn't the answer.

As much as it is sad that Capcom recently decided to focus more on Mobile phone gaming, I guess it is from their recent business approach that it is the only venue where development costs are a lot more cheaper, and lesser risk of losses if a product never sold well. Heard that they're doing badly recently in console games.

MechaGS

Yeah, they're doing badly at the moment but that's cause they keep remixing old games and they pay a lot of money into making crap games (like Lost Planet 3).

They're not very smart for a veteran developer, lets put it that way.

I think most of the passion driven people in the old golden Capcom days are no longer affiliated with the Capcom of today. Sadly, there's impression that the current personnel inhibiting it seemed to be lacking that creative drive and passion to make good products that many can enjoy.

There's a lot of factor to account for here, including market saturation and the recent indie boom. Big time publisher are slowly losing their stand in the gaming industry. I think in the future, we will see the rise of small indie studios as major game developers.
