Guten Tag, alle.

I'm Adam/AgentBJ09. (If you're a Wolfenstein fan, you'll recognize the game my User ID is pointing towards.)

I'm a self-publishing Urban Fantasy author, hoping to release my first work in 2014. I grew up around the SEGA/Nintendo console fueds, and moved between the N64, Dreamcast, XBOX, Gamecube, PS2, PSP, DS and Wii as the years went on; I'm sticking with the current gen's XBOX 360 while the PS4 and XBOX One kick up dust for another year and expose their respective strengths and weaknesses. The WiiU however is in my sights to tide things over, and my collection of Sonic titles is still working well.

Aside from writing and gaming, I'm a recent graduate of The University of Houston Victoria's School of Business. While my Entreprenuership courses didn't last beyond a couple, I'm hoping to use what I've learned to open a hobbyist gaming and comic shop some years from now. My city needs one I believe, if not for that then for a place to have LAN events. A dying trend if ever there was one.

Here's to Mighty No. 9's eventual release, and to some good times on these forums.

Welcome to MN9U Adam! :beckveryhappy

Are you a Mighty becker? if so, what is your Mighty no?

For beckers we have a chat room that you can join to talk with other beckers. We don't really want non-beckers in so if you are, you can find the information http://mightyno9.com/en/node/925 or http://www.mightyno9.com/en/node/925 depending on how the official forums behaving.

I hope you enjoy your stay with us and I'll see you around the forum!

Hello there Adam welcome to MN9U. :) Ah the good 'ol console wars, I was just a little kid when the whole Sega/Nintendo wars were going on, but I'm a die hard Sega fan mainly because of Sonic. So you've got a collection of Sonic games, it'd be cool if you share with us what games you have. Sonic happens to be my favorite gaming franchise. xD Anyway hope you enjoy your stay here, and if you got any questions you may ask me or another member of staff and we'll get back to you ASAP!

Much appreciated, and yes I am. (My no. on the official forums is 64430.) I'll have to look into that chatroom later tonight; GOG's Winter sale is keeping me busy with testing new games and catching up on my back catalog.

I'm hoping to have some good times on these forums, as well as the KS forums, though after The Escapist, I'm not as active forum-wise anymore.

Guten Tag, Raven. SEGA was my pick for years since I was able to use my step-brother's Genesis and 32X. The N64 was nice, but my Dreamcast and Skies of Arcadia cemented things before 2001. Seeing the console wars now though makes me scratch my head because what we have are very similar consoles versus the actually unique architecture that made up the Genesis/SNES. The Wii/WiiU are the exceptions to that rule it seems; having underpowered hardware was never something I saw as a negative in them.

As for my Sonic collection...I've lost count of how many games I have. Most of the ones on the GBA/PSP I've saving as relics but the games that are the most notable as my favorites:

The Genesis Gold Collection and Sonic CD on PC, Unleashed and Generations on the 360, Colors and Dark Brotherhood on the DS, Adventure 1 and 2 on the Dreamcast, and Shadow the Hedgehog/Sonic Gems on the Gamecube. Shadow I found amazing despite the lackluster reviews because of the branching storylines and level routes depending on what you do. No Sonic titles since has tried that, which I found strange.
