Oh my god this is awesome, it's sure to bring in more people who didn't have means to beck the project due to not having a credit card. Glad they finally allowed Paypal payments. :)

As long as PayPal don't freeze the account, all will be well. They've been doing that recently though and it worries me cause it can take months to have Paypal accounts unlocked.

It was only last week that they froze two games' funding.  <a href='http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/yatagarasu-attack-on-cataclysm' rel='nofollow' target='_blank'>Yatagarasu: Attack on Cataclysm</a> (being developed by ex King of Fighters devs) was one of them and <a href='http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/yatagarasu-attack-on-cataclysm' rel='nofollow' target='_blank'>Dreamfall Chapters: The Longest Journey</a> (this game series is pretty well known) was the other.

PayPal need to sort themselves out. They should have had crowdfunding support in since they are the world's biggest money transfer service.

Project Update #30: Digital Rewards: Going, Going, (Almost) Gone!

????????????????????????????????????????????????

Mighty Beckers!

We missed you!

...You do remember us, right?

Yes, we?ve been quiet, but only because we?ve been busy. Of course, we?re still active on Twitter and our official Facebook page, and always watching the comments here on our Kickstarter page and elsewhere on the net (like the unofficial tumblr, still an everyday stop!), but -- as promised -- the official updates have become fewer and farther between since we?ve been heads-down hard at work fleshing out the rest of the design and pre-production work for Mighty No. 9. Of course, that includes sketching out our community plans, including our upcoming official site!

But more on that next time. What we?re here to talk about today are the digital rewards we?ve been offering via PayPal. As we mentioned in our previous update, we?ve been able to continue offering all of our digital rewards on our PayPal site beyond the end of the Kickstarter campaign -- but only for a limited time. And as it happens, that limited time is about to reach its end. Today, we can announce that we?ll be ending sales of the PayPal digital rewards this Monday, Oct. 21st, at 9:09 pm PDT as we prepare for the transition over to our official site next month. Will any of these rewards ever return, a la carte? Hard to say right now, but even if they would, it wouldn?t be at these cheaper, Kickstarter-bundle-level prices, so if you?re on the fence, we recommend gettin? in while the gettin?s good! (And again, it?s only good for a couple more days!)

For details on the different digitial rewards currently being offered, check out the official Mighty No. 9 PayPal page.

One thing we can say is that once our official site is up and running, we?ll be re-launching the PayPal page (or some sort of PayPal section at least) with a few different ways for you to pre-purchase your copy of Mighty No. 9 (minus the rewards). At the very least, you?ll be able to get the digital download version of the game, but we?re hoping to also be able to provide the physical disc and USB stick versions as well. More on this soon!

So there you have it, folks. One more time, for good measure: If you?re interested in nabbing any of the digital rewards we?re offering on our PayPal site, you have until Monday, Oct. 21st at 9:09 pm PDT to do so. That?s this coming Monday!

And with that, we?re going to get back to work -- but before we go, we thought we?d leave you with this awesome image: a custom-made 16-color, 32 x 32 pixel painting of Beck that Inti Creates? producer Yukimasa Tamura put together in his spare time using Dot-S pegs (a sort of Lite-Brite-esque toy that was popular in Japan):

Is that not the raddest thing ever or what? Nice work, Tamura-san!

And Happy Weekend, Beckers! (?_?)?

I hope they get enough money to make this game really good. I would like the series to be as popular as mario, final fantasy, god of war, ect.

I more inclined to hoping they put in the time rather than the money. Some of the best games out there are made on modest budgets.

I'm sure it'll be awesome though. Inafune-san's not one to let down the fans. :beckveryhappy

We always seem to be on the same page on some of this. Well, other than the fact I've not played Touhou but heard amazing things about it.

mightyno67277p

LOL. The worse part about Touhou is the Doujinshi made of the Doujinshi from ZUN (the official creator and publisher). Heck, there's even fighting games, a Pokemon mashup, and racing. Just look at all the fandom:

Good thing ???? has not sued. He could get billions on all the work people copied of. Billions.
Spoiler
I am not a touhou fan whatsoever. But I love the community, and how it has evolved. It just amazes me. I do like cave story although. The plot twist of an secret ending, and all the lore music; god, how great of a game that was.
