What's your favorite genre?

My favorite genre in games is and always will be beat em ups i have played these types of games since the release of the Super Nintendo/Snes.The game that really got me playing beat em ups was the mighty Street Fighter 2 Turbo what a classic game you cant beat it

I'm a big fighting game fan. I love Street Fighter, Tekken and many other lesser known beat-em-ups.



I actually play Street Fighter 4 on PC. Also have an official arcade stick cause I love the feel. One of the best genre's in the world.

I used to love RPGs like about any other fanatic out there when I was younger but I don't have the patience for them anymore.



My favorites are 2D sidescrollers/Metroidvania and investigation games like Ace Attorney, Professor Layton, DanganRonpa, etc.

My current favorite genre are those in the hack n slash style.The type of games like DMC3 + 4, Ninja Gaiden, MGR and so on.

For me it's really hard to tell.  I have to be in a certain mood.  My favorite genre though will always be RPG.  I get most of my monies worth in those games because of the amount of time I put into them.  



My second favorite would have to be hack and slash.

My favourite genre is RPG but I also love fighters. (as I pointed out above)



I'm really looking forward to the re-release of the Tales of Symphonia right now. That's going to make my week!

Action games.

They're my favorite because it's a genre where the player's manual skill and reflexes matter the most.

It's a broad genre in the sense it includes many other subgenres, such as fighting and shooting games, rhythm games and platformers, etc.



There's one exception though: I don't like sport games. They suck so bad compared to real sports i don't really see much of a point in playing them if you have the option to play the real thing.
