A hero? Did you have a cape?

A great way to remember your dreams is to keep a pen/pencil right next to your bed and something to write on. The very second you wake up, write down your dream. Within 5 seconds of waking up, you forget about 10 percent, and in 10 seconds about 60-70 percent is gone. Within those first five second though, you can get a enough of it down before you forget. I use my laptop, cause typing is way faster, and I usually repeat my dream to myself in my head while it boots so I don't forget too much of it.

After a few times, you'll be able to retain more and more memory of your dream, while also learning to write faster so you can get more of it down before forgetting.

That's also one of the secrets to achieving lucid dreaming. Being able to remember your dreams is only the first step though.

Nope no cape, though everyone seemed to call me a hero for whatever reason. I've read about that, I should keep a dream journal it'd be pretty cool. :) I remember my dream from this morning and it was pretty damn bizarre, so bizarre that I honestly don't want to share it... It's one of those dreams that makes you feel stupid for even dreaming such a dream. :V

NinjablazerZero

I've had dreams like that. Though mine are kept to myself moreso that I don't get people trying to take me to a psychologist or something.

But yeah, bizzare dreams are all I have. But if you have wierd dreams that make no sense and are just down right dumb, bizarre or really really weird, be glad. If you are having those dreams, it means you're happy. Scientifically studied. People who are stressed out or not that happy have dreams where things happen semi-clearly and a message can be taken out of the dream. Happy people just dream crazy stuffs.

I always forget, either that or I'm too tired to move, OR my alarm wakes me up and zaps me into immediately reality.  :?  Also doesn't help that I'm a restless sleeper!  Eh, since this thread is slightly motivating me to try I may increase my efforts more.  Haven't tried a dream journal in years.  Why?  I didn't enjoy remembering some of them.  :|

When I was in elementary school, I once dreamed that I was at my friend's house and we saw Homer Simpson surfing on a paper-wave, just wearing his underpants. XD

xD Talk about a bizarre dream Rick! I don't remember much about my dream last night, but I know it was Teen Titans related. (I have tons of Teen Titans related dreams... and they usually involve the original animated series coming back with new episodes... But I think this was based around the new cartoon. xD) All I can remember was seeing Robin. :V

TheRaven

Well I certainly had some bizarre dreams last night. The first one I remember was short, I was working and someone came up to me and said "Hello!" I look back and it's a friend I haven't seen in forever. I think my subconscious is telling me to hang out with her, as it's been way too long. She actually texted me today too, which is odd since she hasn't done so in a while. :V The next one is even more bizarre... and graphic so I'll put it in spoiler tags.

Spoiler
My girlfriend and I were being chased by this middle aged guy who had curly hair, and he was chasing us with a axe. I too had a axe, and he almost hit me but I ended up hitting him with my axe, and I slit his throat and chopped his head off. x_x It looked horrible, and it felt so real. Next thing I know is we're being chased by a cop, so we hurried up and ran. We hid and started making out then having sex, and the cop started jacking off, I kid you not. We were freaking out since we knew we were about to be arrested, but he said "Let me finish and I won't arrest you."
Then I woke up.

Hormones, that's what they do. And it happens more at night since the body is cleaning and regulating itself.

Spoiler
Very lewd although. Almost sexy. 8/10 dream.

TheRaven

Well I remember some of my dream from last night... I remember I got to meet Greg Cipes and I ended up asking him tons of questions about working on Teen Titans and Teen Titans Go. If only that would happen in real life someday. :P I also remember I was playing this strange Teen Titans/Pokemon crossover game. I remember playing as Raven, but the final boss was Raven herself and she sent out these strange creatures that resembled Pokemon and Digmon in a way, but I lost the battle. :V
