Worst game you've played all year?

It's that time of year when we can slate a game which ruined our wallets and broke our hearts in the process.

For me, that title was Aliens: Colonial Marines. I'm a massive Aliens fan and they took a massive dump on that IP, shipped it out and decided it was going to be "epic". Here's looking at you... Randy Pitchford!

I didn't think that they could mess up a game you shoot aliens in, but hey I got proven wrong. There were more human enemies in that game than aliens which was really freaky.

This sums up my thoughts. It's face-palming goodness:

So, what was the worst game for you guys?

TheRaven

Oh boy i've heard about that game, I haven't played it and won't now because of how horrible it is. xD I can't really say that I played any horrible games this year, granted I can't really recall playing anything new. :\

AgentBJ09

Let me think...

Two spring to mind, but one more than the other since I couldn't get it to work on my system: Chaos Overlords on GOG.com. Even though Miasmata was badly optimized and my system can barely run it on the lowest settings, Chaos Overlords is the only game I've ever bought from them which I considered asking for a refund for.

The worst game I played this year (referring to 2013) didn't even come out this year.

My brother's friend lent it to me and it was...enlightening. The only reason it ties with Dragon Ball Z Kinect for the worst game ever is because I got some laughs out of. If I didn't then Sonic would just win over DBZ. And I know motion control games are easy targets but DBZ Kinect is pure laziness. There is nothing to it except a story mode and a shitty DBZ special where all sorts of crazy shit happen including Bardock going Super Saiyan and killing a brightly coloured midget Freeza.

Ryusei

ASH: Archaic Sealed Heat.

Everything about it is unremarkable, and the combat is so slooooooooooooooooow.

Swan Dive

I'm probably going to get slaughtered for this one but- Ni No Kuni.  I know it's a popular and "really good" game (that won many awards), but it was definitely not what I expected it to be. Sadly it was my least favorite purchase of 2013.  I'm not one to openly flame things, so I'll leave it at that.

Ryusei

STH2006 so far in 2014.

I was bored enough.
