Teen Titans/Go! Megathread

Being a die hard fan of Teen Titans I must start this topic. In this topic you can talk about both the original and the "horrible" spin-off series, Teen Titans Go. I've been obsessed with this show for 10 years now, and I can honestly say there hasn't been any other show I have been this obsessed with. Raven is my favorite hence my username and avatar. My favorite season is season 4, the season based around Raven of course and known as the "Terror of Trigon" arc in the New Teen Titans comic book. This is one aspect I must emphasize on because people pair Beast boy and Raven together in the original series but it's not cannon and I despise that paring. The two were not a couple until the 90's when a different writer took over, and therefore their "relationship" never happened in the original series because it was based on the 80's comics. Plus he's too immature for a girl like her.

Now fast foward to almost a decade after the original show first aired and bam we get a new spin off series loosely based off the original series as well as the 90's comics. This is the new show Teen Titans Go, a show many fans of the original series despise. I'm not one of them, I like the show but I don't like some aspects of it. I don't like how they made BB out to be lazy, he's a jokster not lazy and he does care about his team. Robin is too cocky in the new series, and Raven likes a parody of My Little Pony. Really the only character who didn't change was Starfire. I also hate how they made Terra despise Beast Boy when in fact in the original series she cared deeply for him even though she was confused. And don't get me started on the whole BBxRae crap they pulled in the same episode with Terra, ew. But it is a different universe and I have to keep telling myself that. Well I think I posted enough this time around. xD

I loved the original series too (Beast Boy was my favorite character). It had a good balance between action, comedy and drama. But Teen Titans Go! is just alright. The only person who I find funny in the show is Robin (which is ironic because he used to be so serious lol).

Beast Boy is my second favorite, him and I are pretty similar. We both love video games and like to make people laugh though his jokes aren't the best. xD I'm in the same boat as you with Teen Titans Go, it's fine but the original will always be better.
