That would be awesome but I'm sure Capcom probably wouldn't like that. They'd probably pull Mega Man immediately due to a conflict of interest.

One can wish though right?

yeah we all can, but i heard that capcom helped in the project in kickstarter so i think they would not be that mad, but then again who know, we can hope.

I've heard that rumor on a youtube video not too long ago... Something along the lines that someone from Capcom was the one who donated $10,000. I don't really think Capcom would support this project, given that MN9 is being created for the fans who were left in the dust by Capcom's recent actions with Mega Man. However I would really love to see this happen.

That would make sense Raven. An old friend still working for Capcom throwing some of their personal money at Inafune-san isn't all that hard to believe.

I don't believe it would be Capcom themselves though. It really would then be a conflict of interest and I don't see them wanting that.

I'm certain we will see him appearing in other things eventually, especially if the Kickstarter continues to build up. All of the famous "indie" characters tend to end up in each others games just as homage these days. (like Super Meat Boy, etc in Dust: An Elysian's Tail)

I have a feeling we'll be seeing Beck someday in one of the games. It'll be pretty cool if this was to happen.

Giving the success of the kickstarter project many fans would love to see him appear in the games me thinks. ^_^

Shame the donation news wasn't true, I'd have loved to see Capcom putting something forward considering they can't even make a decent Mega Man style game these days.

I'm sure we'll be seeing him in other indie titles and stuff eventually. Inafune-san seems ready to embrace both the fans and the developers at large.
