In answer to your question, yes I did see Prof. Oak. I also repeatedly named his grandson something I won't repeat on here. xD

Yeah, I'm also a guy. As for Gary Oak's name, I just called him Gary. Besides, isn't it more fun to name the player something stupid? Go watch Game Grumps' Pok?mon Emerald playthrough if you don't get what I mean.

xD I was talking about Professor Oak when he asks "So are you a boy or a girl?" But i'm sure they named him something hilarious. I usually name my rival horrible names. :V
