15 minutes of the Dekamori Senran Kagura demo

I want to hear the music but the quality of the footage is quite poor.

If the music isn't catchy it'll be a shitty rhythm game and no amount of tits or challenge can save that.

Not even Parappa the Rapper 2 (despite the first Parappa's popularity back then) could overcome the fact its soundtrack was not nearly as catchy as the first game', throwing its whole franchise into the limbo.

Developed by WayForward instead of Namco... brace for disappointment.

The only good Wonder Momo game is the arcade version, the PCE port sucks.

That tenacity.

The game nobody asked for

"which tends to have a high risk of damaging the value of the character"

Exactly, which is why i seriously hope they don't fuck up or overuse this option.

Even the most tame advertising has the risk of decreasing the value/image of video game characters for the public. It's too easy to fuck up and make the commercials and the inclusion of beloved unrelated fictional characters look too low.

Dark Souls 2 looks amazing.

Does Idolmaster have an official English release for any of their games yet?

Ryusei

Only the iOS ports of the Shiny Festa titles, which are simple and very easy rhythm games.

I'd recommend playing one (or more) of the SP titles, which were unofficially translated.

And/or watch the anime tv series if you like the idea of the franchise.

I don't have iOS sadly.  I had no idea there was an anime though!  Too bad they won't release the games on consoles, I'd try them.

Latest Super Smash Bros Wii U fighter announced - Lucario.  - http://www.ign.com/articles/2014/01/31/ ... -wii-u-3ds

Can't say it really excited me though.  I preferred Mewtwo..

Everquest Landmark Alpha has begun! - http://www.shacknews.com/article/82905/ ... ch-the-sky

I want this game, but no way I'm paying that much for an alpha.

I refuse to pay to play an alpha that they'll be taking content from and using as they see fit. The ends don't justify the means.

They said during that big E3 press conference (Sony Online's internal conference) that everyone would be playing Landmark and adding thing's to the game. There was never any mention of a cost, just that people had to sign up for beta.

Now, they've gone all greedy and want way more than what I'd pay for a PC game in general (especially an MMO). Don't know what idiot bought into the founder's packs but they need their heads examined.

Yeah, lots of companies jumping on the "early access" bandwagon lately, all in the guise of "letting the community take part in making the game".  Until there is a finished version of it and I get a chance to watch full release Let's Plays, they wouldn't get a cent from me.  It's a clever (dirty) marketing scheme though, I'll give 'em that.  Nothing new from what I've seen Sony do in the past though.

I'm a Sony supporter, but it's frustrating seeing them do and get away with things like this.  Still, money is everything I suppose, and video games are nothing but a business.  I always keep that in mind with anything, just in case.  But yea, Landmark was supposed to be free, I'm not happy how they flip flopped either.

We're much the same on the fact that we're both Sony supporters. :D

I'm choosing to be a smarter gamer now. Way back in the PS2 era, I'd just buy and enjoy... these days that's not really possible due to company tactics and the way they market or sell their products.
