I honestly got what I expected I'd get from them. I wasn't surprised. Mostly disappointed they didn't take the opportunity to prove me wrong. They could have gained a lot of respect from me if they had. Oh well though. What's done is done, I appreciate the gesture though.

Congrats on becoming a moderator, as useless as that is.

It's a mystery to me, but I know that a number of banned users have migrated to this site. I also know that there are people that have a tendency to dislike moderators on principle, since some people see it only as a job meant for the purpose of censorship and such.



It's certainly not a position that gives me any impact on the thing I care most about, the game itself. Things were pretty heavily lacking on the forums though, so I've been doing what I can to try and steer it in the right direction. I know it doesn't mean much to just hear it, but they really have been listening to our suggestions on how to get things moving easier. The e-mail they made recently is one of those things we were able to get approval on. If it keeps up, I'm hoping that we'll be able to get things a lot more stable on the forums soon, in terms of policy. Afraid there's nothing I can do about functionality. They know what we want, and that's all that I know.

Not sure if it means anything to you at this point, but I have yet to give up on pushing for them to be more willing to share information with users. Even if it does come later than you would have wanted, hopefully we can get you and the others at least some degree of closure.

The only thing I asked for was simple information and not to be insulted by a vague "Dear User, thank you for your request, unfortunately..." response. Which is exactly what I got lol.I even mentioned it in one of the emails that I sent too.



Also, I don't plan on coming back to those forums even after my ban expires. If I do it will be for rare occasions, maybe another vote or something. I might make one post when the ban expires addressing all of this, but other than that, I've made my peace with the situation.

Yeah, I figured. Not sure what the deal is, but I've been hearing that they're taking issues of sharing information really seriously. I'm guessing it's a cultural thing, because I've never seen any other site want to keep so much private.
