Co-op online play

Since the game will come out in multiple platforms, i wanted to ask :

 

Can you play online co-op with somone that is playing a ps4 game and the other the pc version?

Cross Platform Co-op has not been confirmed yet, or how the system will work.

 

If you have seen any clips online about the game play, that's exactly how much we know. You are as much as informed as we are regarding the game's developments.

 

Which says many things about backer's involvement with the development process.

So far we should assume not. As Nick already said, crossplatform play needs to be dealt with each console company individually...and to add an extra issue to this, M$ stopped supporting crossplatform play a while ago.

 

So i believe the max we may have as cross platforms is between the consoles of each company, like 3DS communicating with Wii and Wii U only.

Bummer, guese il have to convince friends to get the steam version instead.

Try getting the DRM-free version instead. Many of us have a strong feeling that the moderation practices in the forums will also be applied on Steam, even after Beta release.

Steam is a good choice if you're looking for online co-op play with your friends. I'm not sure how the DRM-free version will handle the online co-op mode, will have to check this.
